What would help would be an underpass, & since the traffic light system is going to be hellish complicated & expensive & possibly slow traffic even more, would it not be a good idea to look further into the future & ease the polluting congestion by digging out a tunnel alongside the rail one?

P.S. I know there are strong feelings on cycling, some cyclists are lethal, some considerate, should we have a cycle track marked down the middle? So we know WHERE to expect them at least. :idea:
