Donkeys back on the beach ?
Just read an article in today's Evening News about the possibility of bringing Donkeys back on the beach ! Brilliant idea providing they are cared for properly.
Do not know how to put the article on here on my iPad but no doubt some one will do it ( Bob ? ) please .

Well said Bearcub , more mince on this thread than Sainsburys will ever have . A lot of selfish , self-centred people thinking only of themselves. Get a life. It's a shop not an invasion of body snatchers !

Re: Woodwares closing / Sainsburys coming to Portobello
Bob, in what way is Portobello different to anywhere Sainsburys have opened before? Not sure what you mean . Please could you clarify . Have they not had objections before now ? Just want to be clear . By "us" do you mean Porty online or a general consensus of all Porty residents , cheers for that !

We could all contribute a wee line or story of what Woodies meant to us ? Make a book ?

Well as not heard the apparent incredible noise I popped out on the balcony to listen . Two planes went over. Yes a bit noisy but nothing shuddered or juddered, perhaps our building is more solid . Went back in and asked Derek , did u hear them . Not a thing . Get a life for what 21 nights a year !
