Hi Grunk
You could go to Arcari's factory, 14 The Wisp (near the tyre man, if that's still there) and buy your wife a whole tub of icecream!

Re: Arcari - home of the 99
This is great! The Portobello Reporter was the first paper to run the story (see the online version Winter 2005 - front page, of course!) It was then picked up by the others. I wrote to a man at Cadbury at the time, but he wasn't convinced - said he would add our interesting theory to all the others...

Re: Anyone lost a cockatiel?
The Portobello Reporter was asked to include a notice of a lost cockatiel in the Spring 2010 issue. It is a long time ago now and probably not the same one, but details are on p3 of that issue under News in Brief.

Portobello Reporter Archive
Well done Bob for getting the first few pages onto the archive! The paper has become a historical record of most of the important happenings in Portobello since 1980, and it couldn't have happened without the vision and energy of the founding group - see the front page of Issue No. 1.

Portobello Reporter Autumn 2008
On another thread - Portobello Reporter Summer 2008 (why start another one?) - on 6th September, Michael Traill complained about copies of the Reporter being left on his stairs. I replied that the distribution company definitely don't condone this and asked him to send his home address to the Report...

Michael Traill says he had a number of 'Reporters' dumped at the bottom of the steps. The 'Reporter' pays the company Distribution Unlimited to deliver the paper and they are not supposed to do this. If he sends us his address, to portyreporter@btinternet.com (as on page 2 of the paper) we will spea...

Can I suggest that, if Porty wants to know the names of the PCATS committee, he should ask Stephen Hawkins. I believe he lives opposite him! Then either he or SH could post the info. on this thread.
