Missing Cat (Another One)

Post by Mimpty » 30 May 2005, 13:24

My neighbour came to me last night to say a stray cat had been found in our stair. It is rather skinny, so presumably has been missing for a while.
We think it may have belonged to people who moved out almost a year ago, and if so has had a bit of a trek...BUT...if anyone is missing a cat, please let me have a description and I'll let you know.

Hi our dearly loved cat went missing a few months ago. He is mostly white with some black markings including black tail and gottie beard. Please be in touch. Thanks

Sorry, Dionne.
This one is mainly black with white markings. Hope you find your cat.

It doesn't belong to my old neighbour after all, but we think he has been in the area for quite a while.

The police informed us that a man was found with 34 cats in his white van. The RSPCA told us that he might have been using them as dog bate in the races. This is an unbearable thought for us to cope with but 2 of our cats have went missing in the past year and we just don’t know what’s happening to them. It’s torture not knowing.

That sounds awful, Dionne. I would hate it if anything happened to mine. I suppose you have to hope that he has been taken in by good people.
A few years ago a neighbour took in a stray and although did inform the Cat & Dog home, when the owners phoned the C&D Home said they had nothing. Cat and owner reuinted eventually though

On a happier note, the owner of this cat has been located and lives in our street. They've gone away and cat was being looked after in his own house. Seems to have decided to have a wander, don't know if it forgot where it lived though. Anyway, a happy ending after all.

Sounds grim, some people are sick. How was he training them to bate the dogs, meaowing insults?
