Painting to net bidders

Painting to net bidders
AN original painting of Portobello beach has been put up for sale on internet auction website eBay.

Portobello Sun, depicting the beach at sunset, was painted by city-based artist Natalie Wilson and has starting price of £300.
Natalie, next time stick it on pBay or better still - donate it to us.

Or 'lend' it to the High School and we'll display it free of charge in the foyer........

Nice! Some familiar colours from evening walk... But a boat is a rare sight ;)

Really like "Red Water" on Natalie's site: http://www.natalie-art.co.uk/16253.html

And roll those loaded dice
Bring on the dancing girls,
And put the champagne on ice"

Hi Natalie. The one/tryptich that I like very much is "Coastal Waves". I'll certainly keep looking in on your site. Enjoy your trip to the South of France.

If any of you guys are ever in dalkeith then a lot of my paintings are being displayed in the 'Stop n Frame' gallery, including 'portobello sun'.
I love the photograph at the top of this website! Natalie

I really like red water too - shame its not in purple/lilacs or it would have gone brilliant in my bedroom. Still can always get Shirley Marshall onto that. :)

Natalie has some brill paintings on her website. :)

Brian Monteith MSP's wife is an artist - we have one of her canvas's on our spare bedroom wall.

(one of our only originals unless you can count my schoolwork art!! though I have a couple of Marie Wills (Mulberries))

I've got a couple of Marie's silk paintings in my bathroom which I've had for a long time. Others in our 'originals' collection include a self portrait in charcoal by COC (she doesn't get her talent from her mother!), and two by Rathbone, one of our old flat in Marlborough Street and one of the Prom. They might be worth something one day :D I should really get Prombabe to do us one as well - she's a good artist too. I, on the other hand, do stick people.....

I noticed it "under wraps" one night... More than likely last Tuesday I guess.

I didn't know about the MPH one. I'd have liked to have seen that too, Foxy.
