I will be celebrating the big 30 this October
Am looking for a unique way to celebrate the event. While I would love it to solely involve beer in a bar somewhere, my inner grownup is telling me that there needs to be something else involved.
Any ideas from the POL'ers?

I went to Dublin and drank lots of guinness for my 30th

only thing I didnt realise, my birthday that year fell on Good Friday and it was tricky trying to get a drink...

Sometime soon hopefully, before we all forget what each other looks like.
Remind me, who exactly is the social events co-ordinator?

My 30th is so far in the past I can't remember what I did (or maybe that has something to do with the level of alcohol consumption at the time!) - but like you, Epykat I had
very celebratory 40th

- and an excellent 50th

:drunken: - can't wait for the 60th!
Have you had any inspirations for yours yet Ed?

Pah! It's just sour grapes because you're not getting to play with our croquet set.

Yes, we often play croquet on the lawn, here in sunny Rosefield Park. I was only saying to Tarquin the other day, "Tarkers, we simply must get on the blower to those frightful men from the Council and get them to prepare the lawn for Marya's soirée. Have you chosen your hat yet by the way?"

Most days at school dinners we used to get potato croquet or something.
