St Philip's Toddlers - 50th Anniversary!!!

Post by Beach Babe » 20 Jul 2005, 21:37

St Philip's Mother and Toddler group will be celebrating it's 50th Anniversary in September. We would love to hear from anyone who attended the group in the early days, either as a mum or a toddler. The plan is to invite them to a party to celebrate this occasion with the current thriving group of mums and toddlers. It would be lovely if we could introduce some of the first babies to attend to some of the most recent babies who have joined.

If anyone knows of any of the mums or babies, or indeed if any of you reading this are one of them, then please get in touch. The group meets every Friday morning in the large hall at St Philips between 9.45 and 11.30 am or alternatively leave a message on this thread or PM me.

I used to take COC and Epykitten the Horrible to St. Philips, so that would be about 18 years ago! ETH was barred from the creche by the ladies of the WI because he never stopped crying

And indeed I think that's where we first met Epykat, either that or the trampoline centre. Ah, happy days, I never ever believed people back then when they used to say "enjoy them when they're young, it gets harder as they get older" if only I'd paid more heed.

Or it might have been St. James' Playgroup when I was Placement Secretary (always had delusions of grandeur me!)...... Yes, those were the days, flitting from one playgroup to another trying to keep ETH quiet

Hey, it's only three weeks since I resigned, and you've already changed the times?!

I am assured of my personal invitation to the party. I'm reminding you publicly so you don't forget...!

lol - I couldn't quite remember the times. We normally stroll in about 10-ish and try to leave before tidying up begins
