My favourite series ever was Cheers and then the spin off Frazier. Constantly amazes me how Americans, generally lacking in irony, could produce such brilliant programmes.

A man barely alive...

There is a drama/documentary thing on BBC4 tonight at 10 to 1 called John Wyndham: The Invisible Man, which may be of interest to Day Of The Triffids fans.

These might be before some of your times, but I used to like watching a good cowboy!!! Like " Cheyenne" or "Wagon Train". :D Really showing my age here!!!
You might remember this one, which I also liked to watch, " All creatures great and small"
Wish they hadn't stopped making " Animal Hospital". It was another great programme!
Why be scared????

It is a brilliant site, isn't it?
I hope the guy drums up enough interest to get Channel 4 to consider a DVD release sometime soon.

I've bought them on DVD. Wonderful stuff. But the later series have only been released in the USA. Strange...
I don't believe in Beatles.

I loved This Life and Clocking In also. Although I thought it was called Clocking Out.
If you mean the one about women in a factory it's called Making It by Debbie Horsfield - I think it was on in the late 1980s. The other one is Clocking Off by Paul Abbott which was more recent.
I think you're right Spike, it was Clocking Off. Whatever, I regularly clocked it  I'd also like to see The Tomorrow People with their jaunt belts. Always, always wanted one for Xmas - my parents were so cruel..
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Takin' over the Asylum is being repeated tonight on BBC4, starting at 10pm.

Ken Stott's in the lead role, and it features David Tennant in one of his earlier roles...which is probably why BBC have finally decided to dust it off for another airing!
