Sponsor a Windsock?

Post by mr magnolia » 11 Mar 2006, 16:31

Can we?

How much would it be?

Would the planning thing allow another summer?

It would be nice to have new socks for the summer (I could wear them with my sandals...)

The windsocks are great. So, I'd like to see them stay! Do we know the cost of replacing them?

The artists have been requested to remove the windsocks because the planning permission was temporary and the socks are looking a bit tatty and there is no money to replace them, unless Mr Magnolia has a few odd ones loitering at the bottom of his sock drawer that he would like to run up the pole.

If you wish to convey your desire for them to be made permanent, maybe you could visit www.bigthingsonthebeach.org.uk where there's an e-mail address you can send messages to, and see if there is anything that can be done to retain them.
