Staff in portobello banks.

Post by susie » 04 May 2006, 20:36

Whats happened to the staff in banks in portobello. They are such an unhelpful bunch that i have ever met. they are the ones that are always right, not the customer as it used to be. Think they should start a charm school for them they really need to be nicer. anyone else find that, or is it only me

I've only ever been in the Royal Bank, but have always found them helpful.

As are their staff at their West End branch who have been extremely helpful since my mother died and my father's been ill.

I use the BofS on the High Street and usually find them really friendly. Only complaint is the horrendously long queues - I have given up on some occasions. Even the staff in Greggs have improved enormously lately!
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

I ud HBOS as a savings bank and I have been told I could get called in anytime for a customer review - hey, I just use the bank for savings. When I told her I'd just been hauled in for customer review at Royal Bank she shut up

I hate when they try and sell you stuff you dont want when in bank - I know they are on commission, last time I got customer review the guy supposedly opened me a savings account and reduced my overdraft --            you've guessed he did neither - so guess they get commission for nothing. :o

I use the RBoS regularly and always find the staff very pleasant and helpful. I ignore their requests for reviews etc. and just tell them I'm perfectly happy and don't want any changes thank you very much. :D
