Anyone watch this Ray Winstone PI programme on ITV? I've watched the first two episodes and the action is ok but here's the prolbem;

Vincent has a team of 4 other people who all have laptops, motors, taps, cameras and so on. they work round the clock so all of that costs multiple bucks.

As you may envisage the "team" work on one case a week on neither of thel last two weeks have they earned any money. Its impossible to figure out how these people get paid?
Last night, they started out trying to recover an adulterer's wedding ring, who was presumbaly the paymaster. Towards the end of the show they gave the ring back to the theif for free.

it doesn't make sense.

That is exactly what I said to Mrs Priest as we were watching it last night.

They gave the money back the previous week as well - 12 grand I seem to remember.

I do find it enjoyable, although last night's episode must have filled every hoodie-fearing Daily Mail reader's heart with terror.

I also raised this issue with DJ Ines as we watched. I said "how can he afford a team on £500 that he gives back anyway?" She assures me that they don't run a case at a time but would be working on a number of cases at any one time. The tv programme only follows one storyline making it seem that there is only one case at a time.

He has a posh flat, very posh. They are always having takeaway coffee and Pizza. It looked like fine wine and they didn't earn a penny. I'm not falling for the multiple jobs at the one time malarky. There's too much emotional involvement.

There is def something suspicios going on. What do you say we hire a team of private detectives to follow them around? Seems like its cheap as chips. Its worth keepin an eye on that karen one from corrie and Ray, he has intentions.
