I think I do, I even think I'd like her nick one out of the store cupboard, I think.

I told you there was something going on. I just don't like the way they can get into my brain, have a little fiddle, and make me think I want one. Clever stuff.

I was in 'Game' in Fort Kinnaird this morning Gilo and they had 3 Wiis in stock . Unfortunately I was customer number 4 . It was all very hush hush with brown paper bags and the like

Luckily, I anticipated this Christmas 'shortage' back in September and persuaded my son to wait and see what the PS3 will be like when it's launched here in March ( and whether the Wii will come down in price). In March of course I'll persuade him to wait until we've bought a HD TV to do the new console justice *hee hee*

Meantime, I'm having problems getting an Xbox Live membership - all the stores are pushing the Xbox 360 and have discontinued the old membership :(

By strange coincidence I was also in Game this morning. And it was there that I had an epiphany.

When I went in I instictively knew something was different. The Wii stock update news had gone and the Wii for chrimbo sign was a new edition. I wandered round the shop, feeling heady and short of breath at the possiblities, but then it came to me in a flash and I walked out of the shop. It was like being released from a spell. Now the spell is broken I won't be buying one.

I also remebered that on the christmas list was a teddybear, chess set and camera. So I bought them instead.

I feel free. Free as a bird soaring through the sky.
