On-Line night out Sep 28th

Post by Porty » 23 Sep 2007, 22:44

Its approaching the 3rd anniversary of the first ever get together of the portobello on line community. If my memory serves me correctly it was Nov 11th 2004.

A few of us are planning to descend on the Orm this Friday (KO 7:30 ) for a few drinks and a chat. All are welcome and the more the merrier.

I sense an opportunity for the truth and reconciliation commission, or at least the Roxy Music version of it?

I'm in discussion with mrs m.

Thats great hope you call all come along. I know Bob has another engagement ( Wifes' 40th would you believe) and Marys says she'll try. All we need now is Wangi to come along and provide a lock in.

'Re-make/Re-model' was the soundtrack in my head during the nineties while Desmond Tutu and PW Botha had a very similar dialogue.

Glad you had a good night. I was at the Glasshouse in Musselburgh for a work night out so couldn't make it. Had a nice meal but not very generous portions.
