I'm looking for a small van to transport some furniture items from IKEA. They charge £35 for delivery which seems a bit steep. Can anyone recommend a local company that does a half day hire? The largest package is 1.8m so something like a Berlingo would be big enough.

Condor do 4 hour hire - and they have a 1/2 price offer on at the moment.

We made an unexpected in-store saving in the end which more than covered the cost of delivery so problem solved.

Ha! You fell for that did you? Homer never believes me when I tell him I've saved him money by buying stuff.
