Well done on getting the job s_m ! I finally got round to lunching there with some friends last week and very enjoyable it was too. We had a wee bit of a wait to actually get served but the food came fairly quickly after that so no complaints from me.
I had the Espy burger and yum, it was good. Big portions too :D

went for late lunch today, it was very busy and very good.

Had soup - sweet potato, coconut and chilli with coriander, spicy but very warming and sea bass with a mushroom and parmesan risotto cake with salsa and rocket. YUM.

Does anyone know what's happened to the Espy, it's been closed the last couple of days?

It was open tonight, but well and truly closed last night. Was a bit worried something had happened. It seems to be doing really well

We tried to book lunch on Monday and they said it was closed for a spruce up so nothing to worry about as far as we know!
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

I have a feeling that the espy opened, offering better food and better value.

Shame really, if they'd cut down their menu a bit they could have had a really successful establishment.
