Missing Cat

Post by Bazza » 13 Jul 2009, 19:37

Our cat, Suki, has gone missing. She’s grey-brown, with a light marking on her face. She’s wearing a red collar.

She’s been missing since the 10th of July, and we hope she’s not trapped in a shed...

Please phone 07968 776 532 or email barnaby_d@hotmail.com if you’ve seen her.

Can you give us a rough idea of where she has been lost from? I haven't seen her, but as a big cat lover, I tend to cross the road to stroke any damn cat I see in Porty. So, I could keep my eyes peeled.

I really hope you find her.

Thanks to those who offered help! The cat came back after a week away on holiday on a neighbouring street. Phew!

That's brilliant news. I'm really pleased. They're wee b*ggers.

One of my Tonkinese house cats once got out somehow. In total distress, I searched the streets, the beach and for some reason the roof throughout the night, but no sign. I live on the Prom and had to go to work the next day. I walked to my car, half way up Bath Street and as I was standing at it, heard a meow. The cat had climbed inside the car and when I opened the bonnet, it looked at me, did one of those archy-back cat stretches and curled back down again on the engine. Whilst I was in tears of delight at the fact I'd not attempted to drive to work and I'd got my cat back, it gave me a look that told me I'd disturbed a good sleep!

Cats - who'd be without them?

Me.

Whilst it's great the missing feline has returned home, I really do not like the wee bags of fur.Dogs are far superior animals.

Aye, she was found over on Windsor Place. A very kind couple had given her some food.

She was a bit shook up when she got back, and it took her a couple of days to settle in again.

She's fine now though :-)
