Hi!

I sent off my cheque, absurd moniker, real name and address three weeks ago but haven't heard anything since.

All my running mates want to see the porty-online t-shirt jogging round the leafy lanes of rathboneland, so any idea when it's likely to arrive?

Thanks
I have nothing to say and I'm going to say it.

You mean you didn't trust your own sister not to keep the teeshirt you paid for and give it to you for your Christmas?

Just collected the remaining T-shirts from the Library. If you ordered one and haven't collected it yet I will be knocking on your door soon!

Should have it sorted in the next few days and I will then post a breakdown of how much money we made and where the profit went.

I actually wore mine outside the house on Saturday. Twice stood at a bus stop on the High Street to wait for the 26, and didn't get spladooshed once! What's a girl to do?

The t-shirt arrived this morning (thanks Bob) and has been out for its inaugural run around the town, attracting admiring glances from people hurrying to work and a "What the **** is that?" from the dustman.
I have nothing to say and I'm going to say it.

That's pretty good. I only posted it yesterday afternoon. I wore mine to the Community Council meeting last night, mostly to make members who hadn't ordered one feel a)guilty and/or b)jealous.

We are now taking orders for the next print run, ready in time for Xmas and have 3 orders so far. Price remains at £15 and here's a reminder of the sizes available:

S-36, M-40, L-44, XL-48, 2XL-52

Prombabe, can I point out that Rathbone and I already have one, COC is contemplating it and so the only one not suitably attired is YOU! (but you can share mine since it's a bit big  )

I only wish I had a scanner Jay! The last family photo had us re-enacting a photo which was taken in about 1968 in which I was sitting on Rathbone's knee - unfortunately take two was taken when I was about 35 and for some reason his knee seemed considerably smaller!!

There used to be two perfectly good scanners in the library ......................... hint-hint

I actually walked all the way along Porty High Street in mine (t-shirt - not scanner!) (WITH my jacket open) last Saturday evening - nary a spladoosh from anyone. I had also gone to Sainsbury's and TK Max in it ..............

You were in TK Maxx with it on on Saturday? I must have only just missed you! (I spent rather too much time in there on Saturday...) It was getting home from there that i went on my porty spladooshing, bottle smashing pumpkin hunt in Scotmid, but I never spotted you on the High Street either... :(

I was indeedy! About 4.00 - 5.00pm. ish - and then in Sainsbury's next door. I spent hours in the bedding department in TK Max, burrowing through the duvet-covers and sheets trying to make up a matching set. I was also asked by a couple to adjudicate as to which of the two sets they were arguing about was the best canteen of cutlery!! Porty High Street was about seven - off-licence and then McColl's ...... not Scotmid, so I missed your bottle-smashing - shame

I'd better give it another go this weekend ............

If you wore your t-shirt ........ hint-hint

This morning the t-shirt gave a talk on systematic functional analysis to the Rathboneland YMCA annual conference. The Bishop of Grimsby seemed impressed!

I think we would have liked to have seen a photograph of that. Mine is being very awkward about having its photograph taken, being very contrasty and throwing unhelpful shadows and looking generally creased, perhaps not surprising since I had to take it off to photograph it. I'm not sure what the neighbours think I'm doing but they've probably already phoned the police.

No Gail Porter as yet, but I now have the T-shirt, the calendar and the video.

Spring is most certainly in the air this morning. It's time to dig out that exclusive Portobello Online T-shirt and wear it with pride.

We are beginning to create quite a buzz about the website with the Town Hall banner, the soon-to-be-unveiled Local Business Directory and an article in the forthcoming edition of the Portobello Reporter and there will be further promotional acitivity over the coming weeks and months.

If you don't have a T-shirt and would like one, please get in touch.

Whereas mine (I think I had about 3 of them) have been worn to death. If anyone still has an original POL T shirt in size L then I will gladly buy it from them.

This is one idea for the design of the new T-shirt. Your comments would be appreciated.
