Thanks Poppy :)
It was actually our thirty fourth anniversary :occasion7:
Can you believe it
Of course I was a child bride, Mr Lizzie was a lot older :love3:
We had a romantic day - Mr Lizzie style :)
He spent his day up at the Rugby Club and then onto the
Forresters :occasion5:
While I looked after my Mum and nephew all day then put my feet up in the evening to watch Pop Idol, (I meant the X Factor of course) accompanied by a bottle of chardonnay to celebrate :drunken:
He did give me an anniversary card though AND managed to catch the 108 before it shut at 10 for my fav chicken, green pepper and black bean :walk:
What more could a girl ask for :dontknow:
Mr Lizzie at his best

Belated Happy Anniversary Lizzie. :flower:

34 years! Sounds like the secret to a long and happy marriage is having a husband that works shifts, leaving you the double bed to you and spends his free-time in the pub.

Same from me Lizzie!! :occasion7:
It's a bit late but " Happy Anniversary" for the other night!!!
We've managed thirty five years!! Can't believe it's that long!!!
Well, sometimes it feels it right enough!!!
Think we " fireman's"( and retired firemen) wives must be a tough bunch!!!
It's definately got something to do with getting the bed to ourselves I think!!!
It's just not the same now mine's retired!!!
Why be scared????

Thanks Marya - you know I think you might be right about that

Arachnid - thank you too - I know exactly what you mean  We sure are a tough bunch who like our own space
Me and you are definitely on the same wavelength

As for you Epykat - Mr Lizzie meets Mr E in the Forresters most weekends so you can take that grin of your face

:love7: Happy Anniversary, Lizzie! Bit late I know but it takes so long to catch up with what's going on here on the forum. We had our anniversary on the 13th and spent it in Venice which was lovely :love4: !

It was more a bluesy listen to type of sound - but we did get up to strut our stuff on a couple of the more funky numbers.

Thanks very much Bob and Sandra. We had a very Portobello celebration. A meal at 'Sizzler's' , followed by a few drinks at 'The Dalriada'...and a dash to catch 'Kost Conscious' before it closed to buy some chilled wine to drink at home :D And no arguments, Epykat.....well, nothing serious :D :D

I think some Sobranie Cocktail fags are in order for the Xmas night out - they come in lovely girly colours and make one look very sofisticated and that! 8)

It was our 16th Arachnid, so we've a wee bit to go to equal you and Mr Arachnid. Funnily enough I suggested we celebrate it again tonight as a justification for buying a bottle of Prosecco, and a couple of Rioja......
Either that or it can be an early birthday celebration :D
