Not only do we have friends coming round for dinner... But I'm booked on a 06:20 flight Sunday morning... May aswell stay up all night

It'll be a very different Saturday night for us. I have left everything (meaning bra decoration!) very late. In fact, I haven't done it yet.

Sandra is going to be all bejewelled and sequined about the breastal area. I have bought 2 pink flowers to slap onto the appropriate place come the time to set off.

How did I get into this?

I need a drink.

2 pink flowers you say...that should do beautifully while its's daylight... it will be dark around 11ish after which one breastal area will look like any other...go for support I say

BC was going to pm you our approx time on the prom

but he's planning on taking some pics also

I am SO nervous, the pink tent at the meadows is totally mad! I know its for a brilliant cause and will be fun but Im terrified

Met a friend who is also doing it last night for a COFFEE after work and she said once I complete it I'll want to take part again next year cos I'll be on such a high - don't think so.......

My friend's boss is sponsoring her Â£10 a mile

It would be a great event to cover for Portobelly Telly but I'm not sure that I have the dedication to get up at whatever ungodly time in the morning you are passing through. However, as wangi is planning on staying up all night I'm sure he will be able to get some good shots for us.

Good luck for tonight anyway ladies. It's a brilliant event and I'm sure you must both be in great shape after all the training you have been doing.

Got my flight changed - now on the 13:something to Atlanta... Although probably have to leave the house just as early to cope with the cheuchter fair

I've just passed the HUGE pink tent on the meadows. It all looks fantastic. I'll certainly sponsor you.....with no strings attached unlike Bob 'raincoat' Jefferson. I'll drop you and ecm a pm. The fact that you're doing that distance in the middle of the night is extra hard so lots of luck for tonight.

Sandra and I managed just over 20 miles in around 5 1/2 hours a couple of weeks back. We managed it on one of the hottest days so far this year.

We walk at as fast a pace as possible without looking stupid.

There are enough stupid-looking walkers out there without us joining them.

I had been wearing black socks but BC thought I looked like Nora Batty, hence the bare feet and untied laces!

Shortly after that photo was taken, the two cats completed their stalking mission and pounced on Sandra.

The door stop (bag) played it's limited part to perfection as it sat on S while the cats proceeded to rip the white t-shirt off. Trinny and Susanna (as they from now on shall be called) got their way and Sandra is now preparing in the Meadows for the Moonwalk wearing the fetching black ensemble.

Lovely picture - we were at Silverknowes at that point, it took ages for the event to get started - ie very slow - it took us an hour to do two miles

We finished at 8.21am. It was an experience but one Im not going to repeat!

I am chuffed though that we both did our 26.2 miles. Thanks for all the offers of sponsorship.

Im nursing my blistered feet

but champagne in the afternoon will make up for it
