Hm, check-out chick, is your hair long and dyed red? if so i've seen you several times, and if not, that girl must wodner why i keep staring suspiciously at her!!!
Epykat, didn't realise I was so....spladooshable! I was trying not to be cross but eventually took to walking along with my elbows out to stop my bairns getting knocked down by your motley crue! Wednesday was even worse, although they did all keep apologising, and I tried to be better tempered
...
Why is it everyone knows who I am and i know who nobody else is unless i get a formal introduction? Is it because I'm English?
<grin>
The only person i've ever actually bagged of my own accord is Wangi. Everyone else has been introduced (Marya, Lindsay the book, Poppy etc). And being English i can't possibly speak tp them if they haven't been.

I'll let you off with that one BB! I think it was a full moon on Wednesday and I was a trifle hacked off with some of them as wellBellybabe wrote: I was trying not to be cross but eventually took to walking along with my elbows out to stop my bairns getting knocked down by your motley crue! I almost managed to speak to check-out-chick today
we saw each other and semi-smiled. I fully intended to go to her check out when i'd finished my shopping but she was obviously highly suspicious that I would do that because she disappeared!!!!!!

Hm..now how will I spot Jay...brown, with black and white bits, and a nice blue bit, couple of wings....no, that's not going to work. Red hair (haven't you? Or have i made that up?) and a friendly northern disposition might get me further, i reckon!

Quite the thing thanks Porty.Porty wrote: How are you and the rest of the M's settling in?
Mrs M is obviously distraught at having to stay off her work for baby purposes but the current Magnoliettes seem to be having a whale of a time (thats probably two up on seals - maybe they chased them all away from the beach?)
And of course theres nothing quite like leaving the place you've poured your DIY time and wallet into for 8 years to make you feel just grand at the thought of starting it all again. Painting starts tomorrow so that should keep me safe from any spladooshing antics!
Every Day Counts
Formerly red hair, darkened with age - to confuse you as much as possible - but that also applies to Mimpty, she tells us.
You'll have to stop every darkened-red-haired female d'un certain age (or is that d'une certaine age?) on Porty High Street, and make them say something, to hear if they are Northern .........
