Hogmany tv - what would you do?

I ask because I genuinely don't know what I would do if I were in charge of the tv scheduling but could it be any worse

For the last x-number of years we've either gone out or I've been working at Hogmanay but this year I was off and having Neo-Dada meant staying in so we were subjected to the crapiness that was last night's tv

I mean, the Gaelic song on BBC at one point sounded like she was singing "s-h-i-t-e-y s-h-i-t-e-y nappy". And maybe it's me, but I just don't "get" some of the humour churned out on the 31st. Think Channel 4 had the best idea tbh

can you tell I consoled myself with the wine bottle last night lol

I have to say that anything with Jackie Bird in it is very difficult to like. As for the rest? It made Tam Cowan look funny.

I've been hearing curiously good things about Lorraine Kelly today - although I think the individual in question may have consumed the best part of five litres of Belgian lager before the Dundonian "temptress" (his description) appeared on screen.

Did you get your drinking done Porty?

I eventually got round to it yesterday, went to Foresters to watch the game, take it you would be there. I also think that Lorraine Kelly is hot she has a smouldering sexual allure.

I would not have anything on TV except a bells check either side of midnight.

BTW the Foresters was brilliant yesterday. Standing room only, free hot pie at half time of Hearts match then Gloucester v Leicester (rugby) live on TV after the football. Lots of drinks, sport and laughs. Magic Day

Didn't actually see her on the tele Foxy. I'm just thinking of her irritating 'interview' technique which relies on a lot of "Oh I know" . Still, maybe Porty doesn't require her to do a lot of talking

she looked horrendous on the telly. Don't like her very much find her quite irritating a bit like I find Anthea T irritating.

And men are not nearly as shallow as you seem to think. It's not just about looks for us. Kirsty Wark, for example, has always appealed to me. She isn't conventionally beautiful but she is confident, cool and clever and I would be happy to share her Spanish villa anytime.
