I hope we are all still with us

Afetr a wild-ish night, I hope all of us (anyone in Portobello) are still here, and no-one has suffered any damage to their home, or any discomfort - nor have any of their friends and relations .......... I didn't see any damage between the High Street and Buccleuch Street .......... amazingly.

I hope poor Prombabe hasn't had any more trouble over in Carlisle

No damage done in the Rosefields, apart from the odd horizontal wheelie bin and the new conservatory in the durhams is still standing surprisingly

Lets hope we don't have too many more nights like that. However we should be thankful, in comparison to the Tsunami our weather was mild.

We heard quite a loud noise which woke us up about 6.30am but can't see any obvious damage on our house. So, if anybody finds anything in their garden which looks like it might be ours, give us a shout

(it could have been Prombabe's porch roof making a landing!)

Certainly a very high tide this afternoon! Almost at the prom wall in places.
