Valentines Day Treats

Im thinking of getting Mrs Porty these lovely flowers for V Day.

I believe they are called Dreamy Lilac.

They appear to be the most expensive bouquet that Asda sell. I'm scared in case they are a bit over the top. What do you think?

We're going to see 'Rebecca' at the Kings on Valentines night instead of pressies etc. I know it's not quite a romantic story but really looking forward to it.

One of my neices is 6 years old on Valentine's day - must have been the best Valentines Treat for my brother and sister-in-law 6 years ago when she came along

. Hard to beat that one.

We gave my father in law COC for his 50th birthday. It was lovely because she was a bit early and unexpected to he was oblivious until he was given a birthday card with her photo in it and Happy Birthday Grandad. Definitely a birthday he never forgot!

(and absolutely nothing to do with Valentine's Day - sorry!)

Oh well since we've wandered off topic....... my son was born 12 days overdue on his Dad's birthday 22 February. I had hoped he might have been a Valentine's day baby, but instead he was the best birthday present Homer ever got (at least that's what he said then!).

And here is another one. (It could be straight from a POL Administrator's meeting):

"i went over to a 'friends' house one day after. there was three of us and we were bored so we ended up playing truth or dare. i wanted to kiss him (or so i thought) so i had the other guy dare me to. so i did. what a mistake! eww! our lips barely touched and he immediatly stuck his tounge in my mouth. he got slobber all over my chin. yuk! about an hour later i was like 'come here let me show u how its done.' and now its just a inside joke between the two of us. but boy was it messy when we started out. thats my story. it doesn't sound gorey but it was! "

Love the card Wangi. Reckon you've got a winning product on your hands there. Mind you, I'm a bit concerned for Mrs PoP if her husband wants a dozen - he's either going to give her one of them each year for the next 12 years or he's being a bit of a casanova on the quiet.

Ali and Dan came back from Fords this morning with a pressie for me of a piece of shortbread covered in pink icing with a heart in the middle with the words "I Love You" written on it.

"That's for you Mum, but you have to share it with me" said D who then threw a bit of a wobbly when I didn't give him the largest "half"!
