Most Call Outs for Police-great policy

Post by Porty » 16 May 2005, 15:27

Police have named the worst city centre pubs based on times that they were called out to incidents. The call outs covered, assaults, theft, drugs, vandalism, offensive weapons, racial, breach of licensing laws etc.

The worst 5 Clubs in 2005 are:

Mood (omni centre) 43 offences
Revolution (41)
Espionage (36)
Liquid Room (32)
Subway (30)

And the Pubs

Tron Tavern (15) (Flearoy's fave)
3 Sisters (13)
The Standing Order (12)
Walkabout (10)
Uluru (9) (Em where's that?)
All Bar One (George st) (9)

I would like to see a similar league table for Portobello. Any chance we can lobby for this?

Not sure that these stats really tell us which pubs/clubs are the worst Porty. Surely calling the Police is preferable to using bouncers to administer 'rough justice' or merely turning a blind eye to offences committed on your premises?

Yes, I agree and good point. It could mean that they are the most pro-active. I altered the title as a bow to your more even handed analysis of the data.
