Are you a POL widow?

Post by nicky » 16 May 2005, 22:00

You know I have this fantastic partner but sadly she has become a POL addict.

Are there any agony aunts/uncles out there willing to assist?

At least you're posting together and you know what they say... families who post together....post together

Dear Nicky,

I think you should take the opportunity to support your partner in what is clearly a very important community undertaking. POL is a valuable and worthy community resource and it's great that she's so committed to the public interest. Be grateful that you have such a selfless partner. (ROFLMAO)

And I also think you shouldn't use her laptop to post when she's on the pc.

Dear BB

Thank you so much for your reply.

Thing is. I totally agree with you but I wouldn't have been on the laptop if my better half hadn't been on MY PC!

:D

Hey! I wonder if I'll still me tea on the table tomorrow night. At 6 sharp.

M'lord... i request that the jury take into consideration the number of posts by the complainant...a mere 32. The need to maintain a harmonious family home, care of children (albeit partime) and hold down a job with the bleeding councel. Obviously these must take precedence although she is clearly concerned with her local community.

The accused is approaching her 1000th post and is clearly delirious at this prospect.

I rest my case.

Dear Nicky

Sounds as if your partner has a real problem on her hands. Of course it's not her fault - it's the person who started her out on this path to addiction you should blame.
All I can suggest is that you seek solace in drink or take up a new hobby of your own. How about cookery?

Look on the bright side. If she was not at home posting harmless gossip on POL, she would probably be in the pub downing bottles of vodka. 8)

Erm...wine, actually. Just so you know. Wouldn't want you to order me the wrong thing.
