Christmas

What are people's plans for Christmas? Weather permitting, I intend driving out to Aberlady Bay (before I start drinking, obviously) and walking out to the beach. It's usually wonderful on Christmas Day - hardly anyone ventures out, and you can often spot deer quite easily.

On Boxing Day, of course, it's mobbed.

So how was Aberlady?
We spent Christmas with the inlaws in Inverness... Oh well, we made up for it by doing a..erm...housecrawl? round Porty and ending up at the wrong bonfire on the beach searching hopelessly for our friends who it turned out weren't even there! Still, I love New year on Porty Beach, and it sure beats going into town - especially this time!!!

Ahh... Our in-laws from Inverness spent Christmas in Porty...

I hope no-one followed my recommendation to go to Aberlady Bay, as it was mobbed! We drove past and ended up strolling along the beach at Gullane.

On Boxing Day, of course, the weather was awful and everyone stayed home.
