Yes, Neo-Dadaist is 1 today. Exactly a year ago, our lives changed forever, and I'm not just talking about Big Brother 5 starting!
There will be more photos, especially of the Main Present (a jungle drum set). And I will be taking the dada cam to the Party on Saturday, where even more fun will be had!!
Thank you Neo-Dada for giving us such a great year!

Aw, doesn't time fly? Before you know it she'll be hanging round the bus shelters with the rest of them

Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Happy (belated) birthday Emily!
From that strange woman who smiles inanely at you every Friday morning.

Aha very true. I think this all goes back to when I referred to Beach Babe as Mrs Dadaist, before Beach Babe revealed herself to you all. (oo-er!)
I have no problem referring to her as Neo-Beach Babe, Beach Babette, Beach Baby, Beach Babe Jr, Beach Babe II or Lil Mz Beach Babe. It's all good as they are both so nice - Neo-Dadaist makes it sound like she is going to start arguing with everyone the moment she gets My First PC.
Which one do all y'all prefer?

Beach Babette gets my vote (Happy Birthday + 1, BTW).

She could be called Babs later on!!
Please, please, please, don't call her Beach Baby as that awful song "Beach baby, Beach baby, give me a chance........" will come to my mind every time you mention her. The blasted song is blaring out in my brain as I type. Grrrrrrrrrrr!

There's no poll - it's up to her mother. And once <insert name here> has overtaken me in the argumentative stakes, I will simply hang up my poison pen and simply provide occaisonal (and lucrative) consultancy.

Well, we've been partying for 3 days now - never have we partied so hearty.
Somewhere under this huge pile of clothes and toys is a baby - tired, happy, full up and smelling distinctly of Quavers (party food of choice)!
We had our party today at Junglee Fun in Musselburgh - ball pit, bouncy castle et al. Highlight of the party was when Beach Baby was being shown her cake 'n' candle and decided not to wait to be cut a slice - she just grabbed a big handful of of moist icing - much hilarity ensued.
But none of the babies started a riot, nobody was sick, and the Grandparents behaved themselves, so our stress levels were about what you would expect.
