A friend of ours - and Porty resident - is involved with the alternative G8 - I think she may be running one of the seminars, on HIV and Africa. I highly recommend it.

There are so many excellent speakers to choose from.

Hoping to hear, Gorgeous George Monbiot, Scott Ritter ex-UN Inspector,
Tommy (of course), Haidi Giuliani, Caroline Lucas.

Looking forward to an interesting day.

Anyone hear Claire Short on Channel Four tonight? Now there's a woman who speaks her mind =D>

I missed the interview myself, but from what Homer tells me I think I'd have liked what she said.
