There has been some interest recently in using the avatar facility on the board. As you will see, some of us have already successfully added our own. These are simply small images that represent the user. They can be just about anything as long as they are not offensive.

The facility to upload avatars does not seem to be working properly and this is something we need to investigate. We will also make available a gallery of avatars to choose from. In the meantime, if you have an image you would like to use, please email it to me and I will take care of the rest. We have set the maximum size at 120x120 pixels, 72 dpi but don't worry if this means nothing to you as I can adust your image accordingly.

There are some great animated gifs at www.heathersanimations.com/ which is where 'beach babe' found his/hers (we shouldn't jump to conclusions). One word of warning though - these sites don't take too kindly to you linking directly to their image. Why? Because it is considered to be 'bandwidth theft'. Until we get the avatar upload facility working I am happy to upload your image on your behalf if you email me the URL. I think it probably goes without saying that the 'adult' section is not appropriate for this particular board, but I'll say it anyway, just in case!
