Calling all budding Alan Titchmarshes

Since you were all so dire at taking up my previous challenges this is my last request

If anybody is clearing up their garden and finds themselves with an excess of plants (especially perennials) could you please drop them off at PHS anytime on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, where we can put them to very good use. We're not proud, we will accept anything :P We live in hope.

If that was an offer - thank you but no. We have found new friends in a fabby pair at the Botanic Gardens. They offered us as much free compost as we wanted as long as we transported it ourselves. Today therefore, seven intrepid members of the school community spent 2 hours bagging and moving tons of the stuff  Phase one of our playground transformation project has now been completed. Tomorrow it's the pebbles :D

Epykat, if I had only seen your post before my visit to the Royal Highland Show yesterday. Some of the stands were flogging off their flower displays for pennies. The Clydesdale Bank were encouraging folk to buy up the plants that formed the temporary display round their pavilion. All proceeds were being donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind if I remember correctly.

Might be worth inquirying if any plants left around the showground could be used by PHS...

Well, some moderator you! Thought you were policing this site 24/7  Thanks anyway for that. We just don't have time now unfortunately. Spent today in the lovely sunshine making a fantastic pebble mosaic and praying that it won't rain tonight because we didn't get it finished  I was a bit scared to have a shower because we were so covered in dry concrete that I thought I might set  Tomorrow we have the mask wall......... Bob, we need some photos, I don't have a digicam - please.
