Does anyone know any reliable/reasonably priced washing machine repairmen/women... who work evenings and weekends?

Just a wee update as I'm sure you're all desperate to know how my washing machine crisis is getting on...

The guy from Willowbrae Service Centre popped round. He was very truthful - said that we'd be throwing money away if we got the machine fixed. I though that was refreshingly honest - not what I wanted to hear but honest nevertheless.

I had a bit of difficulty keeping a straight face though cos he kept referring to the washing machine as ‘she’… “she’s really too old to fixâ€Â
