Has anyone tried these yet? You also get Jalfrezi, Sweet Chilli and Tikka.
I've been adding curry powder and smoked sausage to beans for years, much to BB's disgust.
I have tried Mean Beanz (notice the clever marketing? from Beanz Meanz Heinz? no, I didn't either til I searched for the pic above) Sweet Chilli on toast yesterday and they were very nice.
Made me pump a fair bit though.

Nothing can make me pump quite like King Prawn Puri from Mr India. I put it down to the chillis.
The intensity of the aroma has Mrs Porty (and quite possibly dccairns )gagging if not bowking.
MIKPP and Bum Flap control don't really go, in my humble experience.

I was going to ask on the other thread where this "Mr India " is as we have never tried it (more into Chinese in our household), however I'm now thinking "maybe I don't want to know"
You men are always so proud of things that we ladies would rather not think about.

I'm surprised you're not into la cuisine francaise chez Fille de Teddy - what with all your snails and frogs!
And some juicy looking doves frequent your garden too, I've noticed, to get a the wee birdies food.

Went to Donnington the other week and had a can of these for breakfast.
Quite nice but you wonder why you couldn't just put some curry powder in.
BTW - an OXO cube crumbled in to baked beans and a tiny bit of ketchup tastes great.

Poppy, how could you think that I would ever eat one of my frogs

I know I buy worms off the internet to fatten them up but I can assure you it is for their benefit only.
As for that fat dove........well I used to eat a lot of wood pigeon as a girl, they were known as cushie doos in my neck of the woods and very tasty they were too. Don't really fancy it these days though so the doo is safe as long as he doesn't eat all the seed that I put out for the wee birds.

The relaxation and immense feeling of well being imparted by all asian food leads to one becoming closer to the very gods of cooking, indeed a oneness with the ethereal culinary spirits, and a venting of noxious gas from the disciple's third eye.

Perhaps it's the 10 pint pints of lager that go before it?

Lager farts are a totally different texture and aroma.

Really, BB. I'm a bit shocked at you using the "F" word like that.
I think a lady should refer to it as something a bit nicer like a "trouser cough" or "bottom burp".

How brilliant and versatile are beans...you can have them for breakfast lunch, tea or supper although I wouldn't recommend all four in one day disgust
I've loved beans on toast since I was wee, but my kids are strangely not that keen despite my best efforts to convert them.
My dad's speciality was bacon onion and beans...or BOB as we called it.
Chop some bacon and fry in a little oil with some chopped onion, stir in the beans and heat through. Very tasty

I need you all to know that I had a hard childhood.
I grew up with a father who insisted (and probably still would, if he could be bothered) that Heinz MUST be pronounced Heenz, or else the adverts didn't rhyme. And they wouldn't allow that, would they!

ROTFLMAO; I have never heard that expression.
I can imagine victorian dad from VIz instructing his kids to use that expression.

I taught my son to say 'bottom burp' then Homer undermined all my teaching, saying that he would be ridiculed at school by 'normal' boys who were more in your face (quite literally according to Homer's childhood experiences) about their gaseous emissions. He then encouraged son to perfect the art of the arm fart and recently I heard them discuss at great length if the silent type were in fact, more deadly
Oh and did you know that it's also
hilarious to disrupt lessons by farting ?

ecm - I fear that Dada would ridicule me if I used the term "trouser cough"
I have to confess though that I don't like beans and haven't eaten them for years

Nice on Sandra.
Just had Mexican beans - very very nice, better than Sweet Chilli.
Just a tiny note of spiciness but enough cumin to make me happy.

Been staying at the Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle for the last few days. The Room Service menu offered Heinz Beans on Toast for the meagre sum of ..£8.50

Needless to say I managed to resist

Flatulence alert.
Whilst "Mexican" and "Sweet Chilli" have no discernable difference, there is an unmistakable shift in the rate of production of pant gas associated with consumption of "Jalfrezi".
It is therefore advisable that said flavour is avoided by individuals who are going to be in confined spaces such as lifts, going on bus or train journeys, or attending interviews.

Texture? Oh dear....are we talking about what our Transatlantic cousins term a "shart" here Porty?
