Got a friend that's a radiographer at ARI... The problem is not a lack of hardware, but rather a lack of staff.

In which case it makes perfect sense to make full use of the hardware when it is idle and get some extra cash in.

EDIT: Of course, reading a bit further... A radiographer is on staff to operate the hardware for said OilCo... Well...

I am not surprised at this, outrageous and unbelievable as the situation sounds.

Oil rules before all else in this world.

I'd agree Wangi but the same article also says that the hospital supplies a radiographer as well as the hardware, albeit 'outwith normal working hours'. Guess that means a bit of extra cash for your pal then?

Ah! Just read your edit.......
