Stress buster

Post by Maria » 19 Jul 2005, 12:08

Read in a BBC article that a poll carried out by those favourites of Dadaist, Hoegaarden, claims that a sea view is the best stress buster solution around. Must admit I love watching the waves myself and envied the view from a friend's flat on the Promenade.
Maybe it also explains why Wangi is such a laid back guy :D

...surely the sea view is best complemented with a cool, refreshing glass of the wheat beer of your choice.

May I compliment you on your use of the word 'complement'?

I know it breaks etiquette etc but, hey, it's summertime.

The Magnolians have a family friend who recently sold her seafront (west coast, not porty) house after staying there for 20
something years. She said she needed to move inland to get away from the sound of those ****** waves.

The view might be a stress buster - but the seagulls aren't

Oddly enough, I was more bothered by seagulls in Montgomery Street than here. :? :?

But they are seagulls and I'm next to the said sea ..... :!:

Still, there some woody wood pigeons and blackbirds who cause me to curse their feathery personages. Though I actually like birdies - and am still upset that Mr Poppy would not let me bring home a cute baby coot from Blackford Pond
