The first two photos are very similar, but with different stories. Both have been eyesores for years. One is set to be landscaped to become a community garden, while the other is now simply a gap site, eventually to become a block of flats.
The third picture shows work in earnest at another former eyesore site in Bath Street.

Blue sky?
To be honest I'm missing those concrete supports at the old paddling pool site. And it's a shame the Georgian villa wasn't restored rather than demolished.
Where's next? Harbour Rd?

I was told that the people who started to restore the Bath Street villa found there was far more to the job than foreseen....

So am I right in saying the Suite Factory site will be flats and Jack Strand's old funfair site will be a community garden?

Cheers for that, I thought the pic of the paddling pool site was the old fun fair site. I should have reconised my friends old house in Laing Terrace.
