A question for Arachnid or anyone who knows spiders

Is September a significant month in the spider calendar? I have just had to Dyson 2 enormous very hairy, very scary beasts the size of saucers and that was just my eyes. I'm sure last September was the same in my house

Well August has been horrendous in our house, not that I mind them but daughter is always screaming at me to come and catch them and it's not always at a convenient time

After I'd done the jumping up and down yelling at Mr E to save me we found that the huge, perfectly formed but strangely still spider on the floor was actually dead - I'd love to know how Selma does that.......

Don't think there's anything special about September

Could maybe be something to do with the weather!
I've noticed that the spiders in Linlithgow like to come inside when they think it's going to rain!!!

Most strange

Found my dad's frightened of them the other day - very funny seeing a big bloke like him terified by a tiny spider.

This one was in our house a few weeks ago!
Being a " spider friendly" person, I let it escape!!!

Have had quite a few " daddy long legs " in the house as well

I've just found one of Selma's speciality 'dead but seemingly untouched' daddy long legs on the bedroom floor. Maybe she's into taxidermy. She did it to a bluebottle yesterday - very strange.

that is so so scary, I would have freaked if that had been in my house though we did have a pretty huge spider the other week and I was terrified and scared
