Lost

Post by Sandra » 10 Sep 2005, 00:05

Is anyone else addicted to "Lost"? Isn't it so annoying that you really want to know what happens..

Anyone know anyone who is going to America soon? Just I'd love the whole first series on DVD!

Yes, I have to admit to watching it too. I sat up til midnight last night watching it on E4.

I'm a bit worried that it's into a second "season" as the yanks say. This first series has something like 24 episodes so I guess the whole thing will drag on and on but it's easy on the eye. Nice locations, practically all the survivors are young and fit, well, apart from the really fat chap. Wonder if he'll lose some weight eventually.

Dr.Jacks a bit too good to be true - I expect some shocking revelation about his life to emerge along the way.

And, of course, we all want to see who'll be first to have a bonk on the beach, don't we?

Can I say bonk?

Yes, it appears I can. Hurrah!

ECM, read somewhere that the writer is planning 6 seasons  And here was me thinking how are they going to 'drag out the storylines/keep me interested' for the whole of this (v long) season.

Oh, liked Charlies 'story' last night....but he did seem to get over his withdrawal sympoms from heroin pretty quickly, didn't he

Good grief. I don't think I'll have the staying power for that somehow.

Yes, made it look quite a breeze, didn't he. Never mind, perhaps he'll have a relapse.
I think he's in lurve with the heavily pregnant Aussie. That'll keep his mind off the drugs for a bit.

I stayed up last night to watch both episodes too, just in case I miss it next week!!
Seems like they're all being tested at times for some reason!!!
 Maybe they've all really died and they're at some mid level and the tests are to decide whether they go to a higher level( heaven) or much lower( hell) :(
But if it's to last for " six seasons", not so sure it'll take that long to decide where everone ends up!!! :?
Not so sure I'll have the staying power either!!! But we'll see!! Time will tell!!!

I had read that it would only be 3 or 4 seasons long at the most, as they had felt that the XFiles dragged on for much too long when it was originally planned as being 4 seasons and a film.

As for it being 'dragged out', I wouldn't worry about that as it's about to take a turn in a few episodes time. Also a large part of some episodes is done in flashback for the main characters to explain how they happened to be on the flight and why they are the way they are.

Which is just as well as the flashbacks make up about half of each episode.

Looking forward to finding out Sayid and Hugo's (is that the fat guy?)stories.

The most unexpected one so far was Locke getting his legs back, so to speak.

I've been watching it too and must admit to being quite addicted.

I was wondering if Hugo was going to get slimmer too ecm...if he doesn't I'll definitely stop believing it's a true story :)

Hard to see how it can be stretched into several series though..think I'll have moved on by then :(

Well, Foxy, at 4, 5 or, possibly, 6 Seasons to go with 24 episodes apiece, I reckon there'll be a Hugo turns up eventually.

Another plane crash? A survivor from another bit of the same plane that originally crashed? They found the cockpit at one point but not the tail section. Or one of the mad French woman's outfit?

Better not tell us for now. We have more than enough to be getting our heads round.

They keep saying there were 40 something survivors and so far they've only focussed on about a dozen or so, so I guess they can keep wheeling in as many as they like

There is a website that has all the episodes on it, but definitely do not look it up if you don't want to know what happens.
