Pollution in Porty

Post by Hellsquire » 03 Oct 2005, 18:00

Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I would like to know some other people's views on pollution in Portobello. I think there's much less litter and fumes here than in other places, but I would like to know what you think.

If yes, can you explain what kinds of pollution concern you?

Suppose that depends on which part of Proty you live in!

In our area - the Baileyfield Triangle - we are surrounded
with roads/car showrooms/vehicle workshops, catering for
vehicles of every size, and description.

Vehicle emissions/pollution, a major problem.

I hate seeing litter. The Council do a pretty good job of trying to keep on top of it but is a never ending task.
I really hate chewing gum on pavements.

Would you consider moving house if someone kept spiiting chewing gum out on the pavemenet outside?
