Marine Gardens Football
Over the past week I have had discussions about the Marine Gardens Sports Stadium.
Having spoken to an 'elderly' gentleman in the Store Club Musselburgh on Monday he recalled up to 1939 going in to watch football, speedawy and greyhound rac ing. Since then I have discovered there was at least on boxing bout which attarcted a crowd of 7,000.
However what we have not discovered was which football club played there.
Can anyone help? Any information available would be appreciated although it may mean you asking someone else.
Cheers

I played the History Society's video the other day, to my son. At first, he said it would be 'boring', but then became really amazed at what used to be here. He was particularly interested by the Marine Gardens and the roller coaster, but best of all by far was .......the raft in the open-air pool
