This thread is to celebrate the handmade confectionery of rapunzell mo.
I can now testify to having eaten one of her cherry-marzipan chocolates, which was amazing - both in terms of presentation and taste.
I don't know if she sells them - indeed it would be crass of me to ask - but if she did, they would be a product worthy of any respectable Portobello hamper this Xmas.
mmmmm!

They sound brill but unfortunately cherry and marizipan are a no-no for me.

Justice delayed is justice denied.

I've got whisky truffles too. You're not getting any of them either.

What a thread to sneak up on a person!!
Here I am quietly testing today's experimental black cherry chocolates, logging in to POL to see whats been going on while I was offline..
I'm amazed it took you until today to unwrap a sweetie!

I had one of rm's truffles today.
They have a texture like velvet.
Mo, I do home brew.
We need to make up a RFP fundraising hamper. Strictly limited edition. Black cherry or bramble wine, chocolates, illegal cd-r of unlicensed mp3s. That sort of thing.

Yes, good idea. If I get enough notice I can make up wee bags of chocs or a truffle cake to put in a fundraising hamper or summat similar. Is this going to be a raffle prize at the xmas meal?

Nope, it's just going to be a bribe, by you, to us so that we let you come......

Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Dear Rapunzell
Last night I ate your whisky truffles and your chocolate truffles. They were the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Ever.
You are my favourite person on this whole forum. There is no-one else quite like you.
Can I have some more please?
Lots of love,
JP xxxxxxxxxxxx
PS. No-one else really likes chocolate, they were just being polite. So give them ALL to me.

Hah, it takes HOURS of patient IT assistance to earn those wee critters. Are you useful with technology?...

Does this mean you might not last until the xmas meal for yours and Ali's IT payment?..

I laugh in the face of your chocolate taunts.
I have a huge, do you hear me, HUGE slab of Scotbloc Chocolate in my kitchen cupboard and I'm not afraid to use it.
I shall sneak up behind you on the High Street and bring it down about your head.
Death by chocolate.

It's hard to type accurately when your fingers are covered in chocolate.
