hi Marya and Sandra how are you both? I am doing really good just been living it up at uni as usual! came home to porty last night to see the family and me mum and dad went out for a reunion dinner which was fun not seen my dad in over a month and i know it's been killing him ( i've missed him too!). But because i have had so much work to do.....and things... it's been hard to find the time! I haven't been on POL in ages but doesn't look like much has changed still a ongoing war of words! anyway i'll maybe look in over the next few days and join in coz i've done loads of work last week and think i am going to have a bit of spare time now...need a rest eh?
You'll be hearing from me soon! cheers

Probably the one thing that can really screw your lovely childern up, a partner that diminishes rather than extends. As we all know one cannot choose for them. Remember your parents having a go? Mine did, well my mum did. My dad used to advise the girls to steer well clear of me. (He was a wise man)
I am probably naive but when and if "the one" is presented to me . I will start by thinking he must be something special if she has faith in him.
I may yet eat those words.

I was 'stalked' for a while by an ex; he'd be waiting for me on the way to work, get on the same bus, phone up all the time, turn up at my flat and cause a disturbance. He threatened Homer and thumped my friend's boyfriend. He managed to track me down no matter where I moved. It got quite scary. Only after my Mum died did I find out that she had been passing him details of my new address and phone number each time I had moved.Porty wrote: Remember your parents having a go? It is such a pity ypou could not ask her why?
Oh, I can have a pretty good guess. She genuinely liked him (we had gone out together for 4 years) and thought he was a nice stable prospect as a son in law. What I saw as scary, obsessive behaviour she viewed as an indication of his devotion to me.Porty wrote: How weird is that?
