Anyone lost a kid's bike?

Found, abandoned in West Brighton Crescent, one boy's bike. If you think it may belong to you, send me a pm with a description of the bike, before I drop it into the Police station tomorrow.

I can describe it but it's not mine  I saw it lying under the bridge on Friday morning but I didn't have time to do anything about it coz I was on my way to work. Just goes to show how honest we all are round here......any one of the loads of kids who passed it could have been off with it

Funny that I didn't see it on Friday morning - it must have been 'moved' by the time we made our usual last minute dash for the lines.

I'm assuming that it got no farther then WBC, not because of the inate honesty of our local youths, but, because it has a puncture and dodgy front brakes! Other than that, it's in pretty good nick.

It was hiding in a dark corner :D Where did you eventually find it?

It was lying across the pavement outside the house nearest to us on WBC on Sat. afternoon. I thought it might belong to a kid visiting and propped it up against the wall, then forgot about it. By Sunday someone else had placed it in the drive of the next house along, presumably thinking that it might belong to one of their kids. It then befell to me as chief busybody of the street to take it down to the Police station.

Bet you're sorry you asked now Epykat

We had a boy's purple mountain bike with green lettering saying 'Jake the Snake' stolen from us about 3 weeks ago. If this is the bike please let us know. Our 8 year old's been unhappy without it!

Sorry Saladyne, I wish it was your wee one's bike but I'm afraid it wasn't. :(

We had a bike stolen from our hallwayat 214 PHS , probably on Friday 4th Nov. Not sure how the perp got in, but they removed the bike from the rack. Silver mountain bike with black lettering on frame?
(Don't have time to get on this site much these days, hence the less than up to the minute reaction to the original posting.)

Another disappointment I'm afraid. It's not your missing bike either :(
