Let's hear it for torture - both as a means to extract information from those we incarcerate at home and abroad, but also as entertainment!
I've picked some famous movie torture scenes and invite fellow POLers (whether they are paid-up members of our infamous Torture Committee or not) to submit theirs too.
1. The Deer Hunter - "2 bullets!!"
2. First Blood - fun with hoses
3. Swimming With Sharks - papercuts!
4. The Empire Strikes Back - "they didn't even ask me any questions!"
5. Se7en - anyone for spaghetti?
6. Bound - a pair of pliers, and 10 questions
7. Hannibal - specially imported hogs
8. Audition - footloose!
9. Braveheart - freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom!!
10. SS Hell Camp - I haven't seen this one - Porty?

I want to submit the recent scene from Corrie where Gail Tilsley did her "face melting cos I'm in love" pose just before she snogged the tall, bearded scottish counsellor.
I was squirming and was begging no, no. I had to look away.
She is brilliant at that sort of thing.

Now you're talking my kind of torture. And if you are ever stuck for a dress for that Xmas office party girls, with a little imagination 3m of bacofoil can be fashioned into 60s kitsch sci-fi erotica.

Celine Dion's wailing in Titanic. Enough said.
