POL Vacancies
POL Vacancies
I have identified a number of vacancies that we currently have on the POL forum. I am looking for recruitment assistance and suggestions for other positions.
Pal of Porty has been a long-time, reasoned and reasonable poster, with more than 1000 posts to his name. He also has derivatives who rarely visit, Pal of Porty's Pal etc
Mate of Marya is a relative newcomer and despite being a golfer has brought a breath of fressh air to the forum, most welcome.
We are now seeking:
Friend of Foxy
Pal of Poppy
Dad of Dadaist and
Buddy of Bellybabe

Hey,
What's wrong with golfers?
Someone has to put our green space to good use?
If there were no golfers, just think of all the affordable housing there would be!!!
I have given your vacancies on the POL forum some consideration. I think we should reduce the reliance on acronyms and think more about derivatives. For example:
Scorpion's spiderling;
Dadaist's nihilist;
CatVP's kitten;
Rapunzell's hair;
Gemini's twin;
Foxy's cub;
Robin's red breast;
What do you think?
Jackson Priest's monk;
Novastar's nebulae;
Teddygirl's Teddyboy;
Bellybabe's button;
Epykat's kitten;
Rathbone's recording;
Poppy's seed.

I could retire now that JP is here. The world of the surreal is safe in his hands - his Roger Twongle podcast is better than any of the guff I've been coming up with over the years.Mate of Marya wrote:I don't think the post of Dadaist's double would ever be filled.porty wrote:Arachnids webmate:

You mean you don't hoover every day? Shame on youSandra wrote:Teddygirl cute pic of Freddie
You are wise having a "freddie cover" on your sofa! We purchased a new rug and its a self colour red - have to hoover every couple of days
We have Freddie covers or fleecies all over the place, they are so cosy to snuggle into. Here is a pic of Freddie with the one he got from Penny for his Christmas. We tend to fight over it, in this case he won

I was wondering that myself until I ran into him in the Pot Noodle aisle in Scotmid yesterday. He has been in rehearsal for his new starring role on Portobelly Telly.Marya wrote:"They seek him here, they seek him there,Epykat wrote:Where is JP by the way - he seems to have gone very quiet.......
They do not find him anywhere.

He has been in touch recently. As usual he didn't make much sense, but reading between the lines of his pretentious and somewhat flowery ramblings, I gathered that he has been in either Italy or Spain (somewhere in that region anyway), and that I will soon receive a cassette containing his latest findings. Once I receive this, I'll convert it to a digital format and get it to you.Dadaist wrote:We want the Twong. Or at least I do. Get thee to an editing suite.
