Golden Days Children's Festival

Portobello's Golden day Festival went well last year but there was not enough for children. The Golden Days festival is based on the period from the 1930's - 1965 and so the children's festival theme has to be within that period.
Is there anyone in Portobello willing to help organise children's events, such as sandcastle competitions, donkey rides etc or who may have some ideas.
As i said before it needs to be within the 1930s - 1965 perid.
It will be held on Saturday 15th June 2003.

So, whatever happened to the Golden Days festival? I love classic cars and bikes and was looking forward to some costumed schmoozing when I moved here. Where did they all go?

In the local Linlithgow paper, it says that there is going to be a Harley Davidson ride- through next month, Sunday 8th March. That is if there are no objections from the council and the police. :lol:
