Rumours of a holiday have been greatly exaggerated. I have done a bit of weeding in Costa Del Front Garden though, if only to impress Poppy.

You've come back too soon as far as I'm concerned.

I was just beginning to miss you.

I was looking forward to really, really missing you.
You know, going off my food, moping around more than usual, drinking heavily and the like.

Spoilsport.

I'm sure you will. We did have someone with a similar name to yours recently.....right trouble-maker he was an' all - but we kicked his ass and showed him who was the daddy....he ran away and I don't think he'll be back anytime soon. So you're perfectly safe here now. :thumbright:

That is me. Shoving the pillow on my face was a tactic I developed during the early days of fatherhood and I must have lapsed while drunk.

I am not a pianist, but I do play the fool.

Thanks Rex. I fear it's me who doesn't understand her. I'll show her what you said though and report her retort.

I played her my audio and expected some comment on the building blocks of collage or the exact meaning of some of the dusty bin lyrics, but all I got was a look as if to say "I married this?".

I need a shed.

This isn't the only place which is troubled by a Dadaist. Sometimes those places interact with each other ...

You don't have a shed  . Every man needs a shed - if only to disappear into for days on end to coo over his cabbages.

You should check out the podcast - especially Frank's dad's tales of the construction industry in New York in the 80s.

Yeah - we went to the Balmoral, Jenners and the Cannyman !!

I do my best to impress the tourists.

( edit -> for the confused, we're talking about a daily podcast from the US called The Overnightscape which I am addicted to - if you ever want some entertaining audio head to www.overnightscape.com )
