Pizza Hut
I see the Pizza Hut in the old Clydesdale Bank is now recruiting. It may put me in a minority here, but I'm looking forward to it. Where I used to live in East Ham (London) there was a Pizzaland (remember their pizza for a penny special offer?) and a Pizza Hut on the High Street - together with any number of independent restaurants/takeaways.

Sandra, Alex - I know that you would both like to keep your youthful slim waistlines. Maybe you should consider this:
This is one 'local' business I won't be supporting.

Yes, the memsahib and I enjoyed our Pizaa Hut pizza.
It was quite funny actually -- I was in the shop a week or so after it opened, and everything was obviously very "new" to everyone on the staff... they were falling over each other..! I'm sure it's the same with any new business like that. The logistics of opening a new shop which is rushed off its feet from day one must be pretty frightening.

I went in to Pizza Hut just after it opened too
there were several members of staff messing about behind the counter and none seemed to know what they were doing. As a result the que was disorganised and I had to wait almost 10 mins to give my order. After further faffing about by the staff I decided that having to wait the best part of 25mins for my pizza to then be cooked was unacceptable so I asked for my money back and got a lovely pizza from Carlo's
may try again but not for a while until they've got themselves sorted out

Pizza
I had a pizza from Pizza Paradise, as I felt sorry for them with all the competition. Their pizzas are usually very nice. Think they are trying to compete timewise with Pizza Hut, my pizza was raw, it had to go into the oven at home... defeats the purpose of a night not cooking.. will not be back. Pizza Hut are No.1!
