Some objects we see frequently don't get discussed enough.
For starters, I'd like to nominate a couple which seem to be on the way out.
1. The animated mannequin/torso you get in shoe repair shop windows. It's usually a really scary dude endlessly banging a nail into a shoe - and over the years either one hand stops working or the hand moves a bit and he spends all day mashing his thumb. Those ones.
2. Electric fly killers - the one with the uv bulb, electric mesh and tray of dead flies.
Feel free to add your own infrequently discussed objects.

The big glass bottles full of coloured dye that you used to see in the Chemist shop windows. Most of the time they'd been there so long that the dye had faded to nothing. Or the bits of pretend tomato and lettuce which separated the meat in the butchers' window. Then again, you don't get many butchers shops never mind the plastic!
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!
