Noticed this edifice on the former JET filling station site as I drove into Porty this afternoon.

No idea how long/often it has been operating but it really looks quite out of place to me and gives visitors to Porty a tacky impression on entering.

Personally I'd like to see a filling station re-open there; if not I'd hope the site could be redeveloped ASAP as it really is a blot when coming into/out of Porty.

totally agree with you it is a mess that place, could have had a nice supermarket there by now.

Visited there today and certainly not worth Â£6 to spread the dirt around my car !!

Get the old bucket and sponge out, far better than any of these car washes that only damage your paint work!

It wont last long, the one in Tranent never.
