Baguette Express opened up across the road from our office in Musselburgh. They dont use best quality ingredients but it is: value for money, quick service, no frills and very busy. BE do exactly what it says on the tin: express baguettes. Most, if not all sandwiches are made to order its like a Tranent man's Subway.

One "trick" they do do well is instant customer acknowledgment, it works every time so much better than the "customer is just an interuption, we have got preparation to do" philosophy that is commonplace in many outlets.

I think it will do well in Porty and I see Roma as being the competitors outlet most at risk, which is a pity cos its prob the best we have at the mo. Franchsiing is a smart move for BE . Where is the intended location in Porty? (little former jewellers beside the chemists? (not the watch repairer)

Another takeaway - just what we need!
If they start selling second hand rolls they'll fit in perfectly.
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!
